Can
I use Nu-Eyes for my dog with
cataracts?
Many dog owners are using this
product to effectively address
their pet's cataract condition
including veterinarians. Results
in the Russian clinical trials
were quite impressive with canines
with no negative side affects.
The dosage for animals has not
yet been clearly defined so most
pet owners are following the same
dosage recommendation for humans
and are applying 3 to 4 drops
per affected eye daily. Remember
also that the use of any unapproved
drug for your animals should be
discussed with your veterinarian.
I
had a little tingling when putting
the drops in my eyes, why?
Nu-Eyes
is buffered to a neutral PH as are
most eye drops. If the individuals
PH level is highly acidic (diabetics
are often very acidic) and/or if
the individuals eyes are excessively
tired and/or strained, (which can
cause lactic acid), Dr. Babizhayev
has stated that there might be a
slight period of burning or tingling
upon application. This generally
is only a problem for a short period
with the initial use of Nu-Eyes,
for these particular individuals,
and can often be eliminated by spreading
the applications more evenly through
out the day. For example, 1 drop
4 times daily, verses 2 drops 2
times daily. N-acetylcarnosine is
a natural anti-oxidant, which effectively
refreshes the eyes and will aid
in preventing dryness and eyestrain,
which is why more frequent applications
can often be the answer. Of course
as with all eye drops if any burning
persists, immediately consult your
eye care specialist and discontinue
use of the product.
Are there any potential side
effects?
With
this formula, utilized in 10 years
of human clinical trials, there
have been no reported side effects
or contra-indications, even when
used everyday for up to 2 years.
Are
there any medications that conflict
with Nu-Eyes?
Always consult your physician and/or
eye care specialist when adding
a new medication or product to an
existing regimen. It is advised
that Nu-Eyes be applied no sooner
than 1 hour, before or after applying
any other prescription eye drop.
Are
there any vitamins or supplements
that conflict with Nu-Eyes?
While in most cases taking vitamin
supplements in no way conflict with
the good effects of Nu-eye's (N-acetylcarnosine)
ability to address cataracts, there
are some antioxidants that can greatly
inhibit the intended result of this
product. The supplements of concern
are ocular support anti-oxidants
as these particular supplements
tend to have a remotely similar
action toward addressing the problem
of cataract and in actuality compete
with, and then negate the superior
action of n-acetylcarnosine which
is far more direct in it's ability
to address the problem of cataract.
For these reasons the supplements
that should not be taken in conjunction
with n-acetylcarnosine are Lutein
and Zeaxanthin.
Could
there be a problem with using Nu-Eyes
while I am Chelating?
Interestingly
enough chelation, while extremely
beneficial for many health conditions
including ocular diseases, can greatly
interfere with the potential effectiveness
of Nu-Eyes. The mineral extraction
process of chelation also extracts
necessary trace minerals from Dr.
Babizhayev's N-acetylcarnosine formula,
which inhibit its effectiveness.
Therefore it is advised to complete
the chelation process entirely prior
to beginning the use of Nu-Eyes.
Are
N-acetylcarnosine eye-drops useful
for eye-disorders other than cataracts
and glaucoma?
Although
the information is not yet published,
Dr. Mark Babizhayev the leading
expert on the use of NAC eye drops,
believes NAC could potentially also
be beneficial as well as a preventive
measure for the following eye conditions:
- Presbyopia
Corneal disorders
- Computer
Vision Syndrome
- Eye
strain
- Ocular
inflammation
- Blurred
vision
- Dry
Eye Syndrome
- Retinal
diseases
- Vitreous
opacities and lesions
Who
should use Nu-Eyes?
Anyone who wants to experience clearer
vision and enjoy fresher-feeling
eyes. The use of Nu-Eyes may be
particularly important for anyone
who:
- is
35 years old or older
- is
nearsighted
- wears
reading glasses
- is
African American
- has
a family history of cataracts
and/or glaucoma
- has
had excessive exposure to sunlight
- has
a history of internal eye injury
or bleeding
- has
had previous eye surgery
- has
used oral and/or ocular steroid
medication (including eye drops)
for a prolonged period of time.
- has
high blood pressure
- has
poor circulation
- has
diabetes
- has
experienced chronic or recurring
inflammation within the eye
- has
been diagnosed with "cupping"
of the optic nerve
How
many drops of Nu-Eyes would I need
to use?
Apply
two drops in the effected eye(s)
two to three times daily, or as
directed by a physician. Note: When
applying the drops be sure the 1st
drop is fully absorbed before applying
the 2nd drop to prevent wasting
any of the product this can mean
waiting up to 5 minutes between
the first and second drop application.
Can
I use Nu-Eyes to prevent the
onset of eye disorders such as Cataracts
and Retinal disease?
As
a preventative measure and to maintain
the good health of the eye Dr. Babizhayev
recommends one drop into each eye
daily with intermittent breaks or
as directed by a physician.
Will
my cataract come back after it is
gone?
Dr.
Babizhayev recommends that occasional
use of N-acetylcarnosine eye-drops
continue even after the reduction
or reversal of cataracts because
senile cataract is an on-going aging
problem caused by low anti-oxidant
protection, high free radical production
and the process of auto-oxidative
glycosylation etc. For over all
ocular health and cataract prevention,
1-drop into each eye daily with
intermittent breaks.
How
long will each carton of Nu-Eyes
last?
Each
carton of Nu-Eyes now contains two
5ml vials and each 5ml vial contains
approximately 75-drops. When used
as a preventive measure, one drop
in each eye, one carton of Nu-Eyes
will last for approximately eight
to ten weeks. When used for vision
enhancement, two drops in the effected
eye twice daily, one carton of Nu-Eyes
will last approximately four weeks.
When
will I begin to notice any changes
or improvements?
For
maximum results, consistent application
for four to six months is recommended
although many of our customers inform
us of notable improvement and relief
during the first month of use. Typically,
you will begin to see initial results
after the use of 3 to 4 cartons
(approximately 3-4 months). Results
are more significant after the use
of four to five cartons (approximately
5 months) and dramatic results are
achieved after six to ten cartons
(approximately five to 8 months).
Because senile cataracts, and most
other age-related eye disorders,
are caused by low anti-oxidant and
high free-radical activity, the
regular and consistent use of low-dose
Nu-Eyes is recommended by
Dr. Babizhayev as a strategy for
enhancing the natural anti-oxidant
defense system of the eye.

My
cataract is pretty bad will Nu-Eyes
still work?
The
sooner one starts, the better the
results are. In clinical trials,
those who had cataracts less than
seven years experienced the most
dramatic results. Those who had
cataracts for seven to 15 years
still enjoyed very good results.
Those who had cataracts for more
than 15 years experienced less dramatic
improvements.
Are
these results long-lasting?
The
benefits of using Nu-Eyes are long
lasting when the product is used
on a regular and on-going basis.
To maintain maximum results, use
one drop of Nu-Eyes in each eye
six days a week, with a one or two
week break every two months.
